Yoga is just one of 18 activities on offer at nine parks across Glasgow as part of the ParkLives programme, a CocaCola initiative which aims to encourage communities to make the most of their local parks and green spaces and improve wellbeing. Activities on offer include Powerwalking, Parent & Child Yoga, Family Fencing, Karate and Cardio Tennis – and are suitable for all ages and abilities.
ParkLives is an initiative from Coca-Cola Great Britain, launched in 2014, run in partnership with local authorities across the UK. The programme offers thousands of fun, free activities in local parks, encouraging people across the UK to enjoy the green spaces in their local community.
Glasgow is one of 10 cities taking part in ParkLives 2017. It is joined by Birmingham, Dundee, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Southampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Swansea (including Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend local authorities), and the London Borough of Newham.
