The Quay Glasgow is delighted to host the most unique Easter themed event that has ever taken place in Scotland!
From 4th – 17 April, visitors to Glasgow’s award-winning entertainment complex will be able to experience a giant Easter garden made entirely of over 20,000 balloons as well as interactive activities designed to entertain the whole family.
This style of event is the first of its kind in the country and organisers are hoping that this will just be the start of other amazing balloon artistry installations in the coming months.
The event is ticketed and has so far been selling quickly. More information on the event and purchasing tickets can be found at www.thequayglasgow.com. Visitors to the unique event can expect not only the experience of the giant balloon garden but also Easter egg hunts, magic shows, balloon making workshops and a lucky spring dip to take home.
The talented creators of the event from Rainbow Twisters, Sammy Sankey and Donnie MacNeil have been working tirelessly for the past few weeks creating this experiential activity and ensuring everything is just perfect for the first visitors through the doors on the 4th April.
Sammy Sankey said, "To be the first to deliver such an event on this scale in Scotland has been really exciting for us and to be opening at an award-winning entertainment venue such as The Quay is fantastic. We can’t wait to open the doors in a few weeks and let everyone see the creations we have been working on."
Kat Kennedy, of Elektrik Marketing and marketing agents for The Quay said, "We are thrilled to be hosting this one-of-a-kind style event for customers during the spring school holidays. Our team are all passionate about creating great times for the people of Glasgow and always aim to go the extra mile and offer something a bit different. This event truly is unique and we can’t wait to welcome lots of families during the holiday period."
The Quay Glasgow offers entertainment day and night and is also set to host yet more spring events with Big Kid Circus at the end of April when the show arrives in Glasgow.
