About Bharatanatyam:
- A harmonious blend
of expressions, melody & rhythm from
Tamil Nadu, where the dancer is the
storyteller and the language is of rhythmic
footwork, hand gestures & facial
expressions.

About Kathak:
- North Indian dance form, the
name of which derives from the word
katha meaning “the art of storytelling”.

About Kuchipudi:
- A dance-drama performance
art, from the Indian state of Andhra
Pradesh, it is known for its quick footwork,
dramatic characterization, expressive eye
movements and spirited narrative.

About Yoga:
- Classes cover Pranayama
(breathing excercises), Surya Namaskar
(sun salutation), Asanas (postures) focusing
on twelve basic postures with simple
variations, & Deep Relaxation through
autosuggestion.

About Carnatic music:
A system of music
commonly associated with the southern
Indian subcontinent. The main emphasis is
on vocal music; compositions are written to
be sung, even when played on instruments.
